Access 1292 Short Code Number from BSNL Mobile/Landline

Short Code number 1292 is allotted to M/s Door Sabha Nigam Limited, headquarter at chennai. This service is accessible from BSNL across all telecom circles and also from all other telecom service providers in India. 


Customers can access short code number 1292 from BSNL postpaid/prepaid mobile numbers as well as postpaid/prepaid landline numbers. This service can be accessed from mobile/landline of all other private operators across India.

This service is available on STD i.e. calling party can call directly this 4-digit short code number 1292 (or) with STD code 044-1292 to connect to M/s Door Sabha Nigam Limited.

This service is a chargeable service(chargeable) i.e. calling customer pays and call charges as per the applicable tariffs.

BSNL BB Speed ENHANCED upto 10Mbps for MP's BB PLANS

BSNL revised the broadband speed for the broadband plans of Members of Parliament(both in LokSabha and RajyaSabha). The existing speed upto 4Mbps till 70GB is increased to upto 10Mbps till 140GB for BBMP ULD 1500 plan and the existing speed upto 4Mbps till 30GB is increased to upto 10Mbps till 70GB for BBMP ULD 1000 plan. The enhanced speed of MP's broadband plans came into effect from November 1, 2018 onwards.

BSNL was introduced these two special standalone broadband plans exclusively for the Hon'ble Member of Parliament in November 2010.
  1. BBMP ULD 1500
  2. BBMP ULD 1000
These plans are available on copper wire ADSL+ technology with voice calls facility separately(as per the provisions governing allotment of Telephones to MP's).


In the age of fibre connect world, BSNL is allowed to take these plans over FTTH technology wherever BB is not feasible on ADSL+ network but feasible on FTTH.  

These BBMP plans with enhanced speed are available in all circles on PAN India basis.

BSNL GSM Prepaid STV for International Roaming Facility

BSNL extended the international roaming facility for its GSM mobile Prepaid customers in 12 countries. It is applicable for all existing customers as well as new customers of prepaid GSM mobile services on Pan India basis. These services came into effect from October 1, 2018 onwards, (1st October, the day of BSNL Formation day).


Earlier, BSNL started international roaming facility in October 2017 for the customers of BSNL mobile prepaid roamers in the network of M/S Etisalat, UAE. Now this roaming facility is extended and working in 12 countries. 

BSNL Prepaid International Roaming STV Value and its Validity:

  • The value of international roaming STV is Rs.57 in East Zone, West Zone, North Zone and AP, Telangana, Tamilnadu and Chennai Telephones circles except Karnataka and Kerala Circles
  • The value of STV in Karnataka circle is Rs.56 and
  • The value of STV in Kerala Circle is Rs.58

The validity of Prepaid International Roaming STV is 30 days applicable for all GSM mobile prepaid customers.

All prepaid Customers shall use this STV for activation/extension of international roaming facility when roaming outside India in 12 countries, working with 13 foreign operators (Bangladesh(M/s GrameenPhone), Canada(M/s Bell Mobility), HongKong(M/s HKT), Japan(M/s NTTDoCoMo), Myanmar(M/s Doredoo), Nepal(M/s NCell), Oman(M/s OmanTel), Qatar(M/s Ooredoo), Saudi Arabia(M/s Zain & Etisalat), Srilanka(M/s MobiTel), UAE(M/s Etisalat) and USA(M/s T-Mobility) across the globe.
